Acceptance
By accessing or using Resume Tailor (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
Use of Service
You may use the Service to analyze and optimize resumes for job applications. You must provide accurate information and use the Service only for lawful purposes.
Prohibited Uses
You may not: • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any laws. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems. • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure. • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service. • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service. • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service output without authorization. • Upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights. • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code. • Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, logos, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your resume content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the Service. This license terminates when your data is deleted.
AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to analyze and rewrite resume content. AI-generated output is provided as a suggestion only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all output before use. We do not guarantee that AI output is accurate, complete, free of errors, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI output does not constitute professional career advice.
Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. Prices and credits are as displayed at the time of purchase. All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including unused credits. Credits are valid for 30 days after your last purchase; each new purchase resets the 30-day period. By completing a purchase, you consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive any right of withdrawal, including the EU 14-day cooling-off period. If you believe you were charged in error due to a technical issue, contact us and we will investigate.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee ATS compatibility, job interviews, job offers, or any specific outcomes. Resume analysis and suggestions are automated and may not suit every situation. Use your own judgment before submitting applications.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Resume Tailor and its operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) content you upload to the Service.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet outages, pandemics, or third-party service disruptions.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction specified below. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against us.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Resume Tailor regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will indicate the last updated date at the top of this page.
